Scientific Literacy
Scientific literacy is one of the most significant forms of literacy and/or educational intellectualism from a personal standpoint. My reasoning behind the aforementioned statement is of the profound simplicity and complexity that science exhibits and has. Science is an intellectual entity that contains four major components of intellectualism, innovation, complexity, inquiry, and intelligence(standard and crystallised). By practicing and/or utilizing the principles and skills presented in science better cognition and overall intelligence can be acquired. My personal definition of scientific literacy is the understanding, application, utilization, and interpretation of scientific concepts. Scientific literacy is not solely acquired through effective education but also through personal scientific inquiry and personal engagement in the sciences.
